Stop the Traditional Herbal Medicinal Products Directive - Sign the petition

Hi everyone,

I had a newsletter arrive in my inbox this evening, asking for help to save our right to access to medicinal herbs, and other natural supplements. Heidi Stevenson of Gaia-Health.com has set up a petition which you can view here.

Bearing in mind that these gentle natural therapies, if applied correctly, actually have fewer adverse side effects than most modern drugs, (and the fact that insurance to practice is relatively inexpensive, reflecting this safety factor) it seems only fair that we should retain the choice of how our bodies are treated, and what goes into them.

If you are interested in preserving our rights to choose the way we look after our health, especially if we prefer the natural route over the allopathic route (and the experiences of my family and me with doctors and the 'blessings' of modern medicine leaves me very jaundiced and cynical indeed!) then please consider hopping over to have a look and to add your signature to the petition.

Bright Blessings,
Karen
