Delighted to be Interviewed by Jessica Ortner for the Tapping Insiders Club!

Hi everyone,

A few days after I got back from the chill-out Scottish holiday I was surprised to find an email waiting for me inquiring, out of the blue, if I would like to be interviewed by Jessica Ortner, from the Tapping Insiders Club (and the Tapping Solution DVD people) on the topic of the use of EFT for  menopause.

I read it three times, trying to figure out where the leg-pull was, decided it was for real, picked myself and my jaw off the floor, and emailed right back saying "Yes."

A few days went by with nothing coming back and I was still trying to figure out if someone was winding me up when I got a reply, and after a little to-ing and fro-ing, not helped by me being useless at calculating different time zones, the interview was set for Friday 8th October at 6.00pm UK time.

I thought I would be quite anxious, as this was a totally new experience for me. Jessica has interviewed well-known EFT experts such as Carol Look, Brad Yates, Pamela Bruner, Margaret Lynch, Steve Wells, Dr Alex Lees and Dr Pat Carrington, amongst others; let's face it, I'm not exactly in that league.

As it happened I only got a bit anxious about 10 minutes before the phone was due to ring, so a little tapping was in order, mainly along the lines I hoped I didn't make a right muppet of myself. :-) I needn't have worried; Jessica is a lovely lady and soon put me totally at ease.

Unfortunately, we couldn't do much because the recording sound quality just wasn't up to scratch. Three attempts to try and sort it, including moving to Skype, didn't work so we had to decide to drop it and re-schedule. Apart from a slight sense of frustration, I felt really quite happy about it all, despite the glitches.

Take Two occurred on Friday 15th at 6.00pm. I had requested some Reiki Distant Healing from the Reiki group to hopefully lift the vibes for a good strong telephone connection (sounds very odd, perhaps, but technology and I have a love/hate relationship, and you might be surprised at how often, after getting rather frustrated, I've taken time out for a little Reiki meditation and things have started to work hunky-dory!). I had done some tapping on the lines of: Even though last time was most frustrating because the connection wasn't good enough to record, and I'm worried it will happen again, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and allow for a perfect result.

This time, it all went well, with a crystal clear connection. Jessica asked me some questions about the commonest problems women with menopause symptoms wanted help with (hot flushes / flashes, night sweats and insomnia) and we talked a little about the current attitudes and beliefs around menopause, fostered by the media and the medicalisation of this really natural process. We finished by going through an EFT tap-along for hot flushes and night sweats.

I really enjoyed the whole experience, and it goes to show that even when you get to that certain time in your life, you can still be up for new challenges. I've always had a very positive outlook on what the menopause process means for me, and as I near the big 50 I find I'm actually far more confident and happy in myself than at any other time. As we said in the interview, regular use of EFT can help keep the physical symptoms at bay because you can work on any underlying stresses that can trigger hormonal imbalances that then influence the physical body, so it is a perfect maintenance tool.

Unlike HRT, EFT has no nasty side-effects and is ever present, to be used on the spot when needed, literally at your fingertips.

You can hear the interview "Tapping for Menopause with Karen Lewis" at the Tapping Insiders Club. This is a membership site but you can try it out for a whole month at just $27. When you see the wealth of videos and interviews covering a whole range of topics - health - physical, emotional and mental; parent/child relationships; phobias; self-development; weight; finances; etc., I think you will find that it is excellent value and a great resource.

Should you want a copy of the EFT tap-along for hot flushes and night sweats you can find that on my website - http:/www.eft-not-hrt.com/.

Bright Blessings,
Karen
